
Kenneth J. Cool
President and Patent Attorney
Kenneth J. Cool focuses his practice on patent preparation and prosecution, portfolio management, and patent-related counseling services. Before establishing Cool Patent, P.C., he served as in-house counsel for Intel Corporation and Gateway, Inc., in addition to practicing law at various law firms. While at Intel, Kenneth was the Committee Chair for the Optical/MEMS/BioMEMS IP Committee, and a member of Intel's Wireless IP Committee.
When not managing the firm and practicing law, Kenneth is an avid guitarist and enjoys spending time with his family camping and bicycling.

Patent Attorney
Joseph Curtin's practice encompasses patent preparation and prosecution. He also counsels and advises clients and corporate departmental managers regarding business strategies utilizing intellectual property rights, including preparing patentability, validity, infringement and freedom-to-operate opinions, negotiating licenses, and advising regarding litigation. His area of expertise lies in electrical and electronic technologies, including analog and digital circuits, instrumentation, and MEMS; and mechanical technologies, such as anti-lock braking systems.
Joseph has professional experience as a Patent Attorney in both the law firm and corporate setting. Additionally, he has 10 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer.
